Misi Semi Giler

Actually this month is full with backtoback event. Pada yg xbiasa proberly akan jadi minggu yg memenatkan but pada aku it just part of the training. Currently aku tgh biasakan diri untuk menjadi letih dan aku boleh impliment the best for my recovery plan. Bila badan biasa dilatih dgn backtoback kita akan menjadi lebih bersedia untuk keadaan yg lebih extream. Aku yakin with proper recovery plan akan jadikan kita lebih baik but pour recovery plan akan buat kita sakit dan proberly give up lepas tu. All this is to prepare for GILER event in September.


Standard Charted Fun Run - Sabtu 0800AM

Plan asal aku xturun event ni. Just register sbb free and try to get the T which i manage to get it. Actually Suzi and my kids akan bercuti ke Sarawak this date. So aku kne hantar depa ke airport pagi tu. Same time dgn event ni. Tah camna AA reshedule the flight time jadi malam. So aku pon redah le event ni. Pagi tu seawal 6.30am aku dah ada kat Taman Empangan Putrajaya. Nak jadi lagi citer, Suhaila adik aku mai umah aku minggu ni tuk teman aku kat umah sbb Suzi n the kids xda, so lajakkan sekali dia to pirate this event. Nak jadi lagi citer wife En Zul, Amy xdpt turun event ni, so bip dia kmi kasi ke Suhaila. So pirate halal la jadinya. Nak lagi dan lagi citer Zinov dan adik dia pon mai tuk memeriahkan mejlis. So ramai le pagi tu. Anyway, aku, En Zul dan Zinov (3 abdul) ada plan yg lbh baik which we are going to do this run and bilas dgn LSD mlm kang and bilas lagi sekali dgn Ekiden run the next day. So ini misi separa giler untuk mereka.

Pagi tu meet familiar faces yg xturun Hadyai and Sundown Marathon, Zas, Ray, Che, Midon etc. So we gather and enjoy the atmosphere. Kata fun run so we just enjoy. Crowd mmg ramai, aku percaya sbb event ni freekan. Plan kmi 3 abdul just run in small pace and enjoy the sun. Masa dilepaskan, kmi pegi agak laju. At 1st KM we clock 5-6minit pace. Kmi try to reduce at 2nd KM, tapi sama ja. So kmi decide to do really2 slow run which just target between 9-10minit pace start from PICC. Xjalan jugak. We did run walk pon we still to clock at average 7-8minit pace. Aku rasa mcm ada yg xkene jer, either jam salah clock or kmi mmg nak laju2. Proberly because of the distance yg pendek (8KM) or crowd yg ramai.

Kmi xface byk mslh all the way route. We just try to do run walk just to see how it goes after PICC. Plan dia naik bukit just walk, turun bukit laju. Jalan lurus kami kejar trafic light. So we can prepare for more good test scenario for our longer event soon. Lagi pon kmi ada LSD lagi mlm tu, so aku rasa xadil nak siksa En Zul and Zinov byk sgt. So we manage to finish it at target time. Suhaila dah hilang dari group kami awal2 lagi and as aspect dia mmg laju dalam kategori dia. Overall, game ni well manage. Air cukup, marking cukup cuma bab trafic. Aku xleh nak salahkan dpa gak sbb driver2 kat MY ni mmg mcm haram skit. Dah tau org berlari bawak2 laju2.


LSD - Ahad 0300AM

Plan asal nak buat 20KM and start at 2AM. Tapi disebabkan smua ada hal such nak pi wedding and other priority event lepas fun run siangnya so kmi decide to reduce the mileage and time. So kmi start at 3.30AM. Aku sendiri pon agak keletihan which lepas fun run pi wedding kat Tmn Melawati and petangnya hantar Suzi and the kids ke airport. Dgn cuaca yg panas agak melampau, so aku rasa it good to reduce the mileage. Anyway En Zul and Zinov 1st timer on this route. Aku plan nak bawak dpa pusing route biasa dari POJ - Mesjid Merah - POJ - PICC - POJ. Kira boleh la cover around 10-11KM.

Actually agak fun lari pagi tu sbb route ni penuh dgn manusia dan kedai. Kata ada Hari Belia so ada yg tido tepi jalan, dalam khemah. Dgn budak2 kayuh basikal, main moto and kereta. So agak xbosan la. We manage to finish the run before azan subuh. We go to Mesjid Besi tuk mandi and solat before make a move for Ekiden plak at 6.45AM. Anyway aku sempat tido dalam 30minit for fast recovery. Actually it really work. Aku telan satu pack ORS and lelap kejap. Bangun terus fresh.


Ekiden Run - Ahad 0700AM

Actually plan asal Syam from Team PAcat akan run this relay. Nak jadi hal dia demam and dpt semput this week so Zinov come to save the day. So Mimi will become 1st runner, aku 2nd, Zinov 3rd, En Zul 4th dan Suhaila last runner. Plan dia just to finish the game. For Team PAcat this is part of preparation for Kinabalu hike September ni. For 3 abdul, it part of drill for more event in future.

Anyway, this is 1st time kmi join Ekiden. So at the 1st place xtau how is the format. Jadi kmi dibawa kesetiap check point (CP) which cover almost 3KM for each runner. By 8am 1st runner dilepaskan. It takes about 30minit for mimi tuk sampai ke 2nd CP. Masa ni aku rasa kmi agak ketinggalan. So aku push to do run max. Masa ni aku xfikir apa dah sbb jarak xberapa jauh so aku xrasa jd mslh klu aku nak sprint. So aku maintain dgn speed. Masa ni aku potong >20 org in my category. Nampak ja bip hijau aku kejar n kira. Masa ni ada satu amoi pace aku. Beria2 dia folow belakang aku. Sampai at 2KM dia give up. Aku tarik dia to follow pace aku. Kawal pernafasan and free your mind. Dia ikut and manage to finish it sama dgn aku. Nampak muka kepuasan dia bila dia pass selempang ke kawan dia. Xsudah2 dia ucap TQ pada aku. Aku percaya that is what we need to do, to encourage people and share some input to keep others to run. Bukan rasa diri mcm bagus and let others down.

Lepas Zinov take over aku berjalan ke POJ. Jalan jam giler so buang masa ja naik shuttle bus. Kat POJ aku melepak ngan Farah, sorang lagi adik aku yg turun to become a manager. So kmi duk layan other runners kat finishing line. One incident happen which satu runner kene sawan. Dia jatuh betul2 dalam 10 meter dari tempat kmi duduk. Masa tu aku perasan dia nak tekan laju kat situ. It about 50meter ke finishing. Dah jadi pattern aku tgk last 100meter runners nak tekan. Actually it not healty sbb kita push max at last 100meter and sampai finishing kita total stop. Jantung boleh terus berenti ko, jangan main2. It happen byk kali and kita patut amek sbgai pengajaran. Klu nak tekan, tekan all the way and slow down at last 100meter.

So budak ni jatuh tersembam masa dia nak tekan tu. Muka dia kne atas jalan and gigi dia patah sampai ke akar. Masa ni dia terus kne sawan. Mengelepar mcm ayam kne sembelih. Masa ni smua kerumun dia, aku sendiri just tgk ja dari jauh sbb aku yakin ramai hero kat situ. Few minute lps dia mengelepar aku tgk dia keras. Aku ingat mati dah kot budak ni. Bila medic sampai, tgk dia sambung mengelepar. Mulut dia berdarah2. Lepas medic take over tgk dia calm down skit so aku rasa xda apa kot, proberly dia hilang 2 batang gigi and mungkin menyesal masuk event ni sbb cutting boleh agak bukan session runner.

Then Suhaila sampai dgn gayanya. Total we manage to clock about 1hour 33 minutes in 102 place. Dalam form registration medal only for 100 team je so we don't aspect any medal but get a cert. Masa pi amek cert organizer kata medal only for 85 team je. Hahahaha, dah remaining team mengamuk2 sebab xdpt medal (proberly aku akan cover topic ni later). So aku rasa still ok dgn timing dan teamwork yg ada. Tujuan asal is just to mix up, having fun and enjoy the game.

So this week nothing much, just fullfill my weekly mileage to close this month mileage. Tgh minggu will be in Sarawak for Gawai until next week. Proberly gantung kasut and rest with my family.
